For workshops that service brakes by the dozen — fleet depots, dealer service centres, military vehicle workshops — the BS-9370 puts a drum spindle and a rotor spindle on the same base. One operator can be cutting on one side while loading the other.
Independent feed drives mean each side can run a different job in parallel.
| Type | Drum Side | Rotor Side |
|---|---|---|
| Maximum diameter | 920 mm | 700 mm |
| Maximum depth / thickness | 370 mm | 85 mm |
| Spindle speeds | 60 – 220 rpm | 60 – 160 rpm |
| Cutter type | Single-point carbide | Twin-point (both faces) |
| Motor | 4 kW | 2.2 kW |
Two separate machines take twice the floor space and twice the operator wages. The BS-9370 occupies less than two metres of bench length, with both spindles served from the same hydraulic and electrical cabinet. The investment pays back faster than two stand-alone machines, and uptime is higher because the shared power pack is properly engineered for continuous duty.
